Peer Academic Coaching
Academic coaching is a one-time or series of conversations that are meant to enhance your well-being and academic performance. Coaching provides a partnership between students who want to improve their academic strategies and a peer academic coach who is trained to listen and collaborate to come up with effective strategies for each individual.
CLASS peer academic coaches can help you with:
- Time management
- Effective study strategies
- Understanding course assignments
- Planning ahead for the semester
- Understanding your course syllabus
- Academic success planning
- Prioritizing your workload
In addition to CLASS peer academic coaches, Pacific offers support through staff-run academic coaching. If you'd prefer to work with a staff member rather than a peer, you can learn more on the Academic and Career Advising Center's Academic Coaching page.
