October–November 2011. Bringing Tribal Leaders to the Pacific campus to engage in discussions about tribal law, manifest destiny and the fate of the Indian peoples, tribal renaissance from 1970–present, tribal jurisdiction and land management, and treaty rights. This series is open to the Pacific community and the Forest Grove and Washington County communities. Pacific students can register for a course that satisfies the Civic Engagement requirement.

  • Former Oregon Governor Vic Atiyeh’s papers. Governor Atiyeh, Oregon’s last Republican governor (1987–1995) is in the process of donating his papers to Pacific University. The McCall Center is working with the Pacific library to create oral histories, organize these papers, digitize them, and make them available for Pacific scholars and the wider community.
