Residency Teacher Licensure Program

The Pacific University Residency Teacher Licensure (RTL) Program is an 11 month, 3 semester teacher licensure program for teachers hired at least half-time in the classroom.

Complete the School of Learning & Teaching online application

Classes: Held on Zoom every other Saturday during the school year.  Instruction also includes self-paced online modules. RTL Residents also receive individual face-to-face coaching, mentoring, and modeling to apply RTL to their real teaching.

Endorsements: Elementary Multiple Subjects, Science, Mathematics, English Language Arts, Social Studies, World Languages (Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Russian) 

Credit Hours: 20

Total Program Cost: $16,849, paid across semesters of the program. Payment plans available.

Financial Aid: Eligible for Oregon Teacher Scholars program, FSA (graduate student loan program)

RTL Application: Accepted on a rolling basis (apply anytime)
Program Start: July 22, 2024

RTL is approved accredited by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
