Katie Bell, EdD, RDH joined Pacific University as a full-time faculty member in August 2010.  She teaches students in the DMSc and DHSc programs, and serves as Associate Dean for Interprofessional Education. 

Christine Legler, DHSc, MS, PA-C
Professor, Doctor of Healthcare Science Program

Christine Legler DHSc, PA-C, was the founding Director of the Pacific University Physician Assistant program and recently returned to assist with the development of the Doctor of Science program. She has extensive professional experience in clinical practice, healthcare administration and on-line education. ​

Cindy Mai
Adjunct Faculty

Cindy Mai, MHA, graduated from Pacific University in 2020 with a master’s of healthcare administration and leadership. Cindy is an adjunct faculty member teaching Diversity, Equity, and Systems thinking for the Pacific University Doctor of Science Program. At OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC), Cindy is leading the Volunteer Services department. She also co-chair’s HMC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Adjunct Faculty

Sheri Marlin, M.Ed. is Chief Learning Officer at the Waters Center for Systems Thinking, where their mission is to make systems thinking accessible to everyone, across generations and geographies.  Sheri is also an adjunct faculty member for the Pacific University Doctor of Science program.  Sheri is co-author of the Habit-forming Guide to Becoming a Systems Thinker.

 

Adjunct Faculty

Ken DeVane, MBA, MS is an adjunct faculty member teaching Bachelor's and Master's level courses for the School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership and the College of Business. Ken also teaches Doctoral level courses for the Doctor of Science Program.

Amber Vanzant, MAT graduated with her BA in Education and Learning from Pacific University in 2003 and her Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2004 (GO BOXERS!).  She then went on to teach Kindergarten, first and second grades in the Hillsboro School District for 10 years.  She returned to Pacific to work for the School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership in July 2018.  Amber provides operational and administrative support for both the Doctor of Science program and the School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership.
