The pathway to a meaningful career starts with the work you do at Pacific. On-campus jobs, internships, and mentoring services help students prepare for their future careers.
At Pacific, a campus job is more than a paycheck; it is applied learning that helps students develop leadership, management and other valued job skills. Students often secure a position that allows them to graduate to higher levels of responsibility over time.
Career Development Center
Professional career counselors and staff in the Pacific University Career Development Center offer a full range of career-related services and opportunities for Pacific University students, alumni and partners. Much of the work involves offering individual sessions for students and alumni seeking full-time employment opportunities, part-time and temporary work, internships, summer jobs, fellowships and further education opportunities. The center hosts a broad array of workshops, programs and job fairs throughout the year.
Pacific students are supported by alumni in countless ways, from gifts supporting financial aid, to presenting at career fairs, to internships offered through their businesses. The alumni network is a lifetime lifeline for career mentors and future support.
