PsyD Service Scholarships

Service Scholarships are awarded to graduate students in the PsyD program who are dedicated to promoting diversity. Recipients must be committed to working with and advocating for underserved populations.

Scholarships are awarded at the time students are accepted into the program and require completion of an essay that is submitted with the admissions application. In order to maintain the scholarship, recipients are required to engage in diversity-related activities within the School of Graduate Psychology (SGP) and the community. Recipients are encouraged to promote diversity within SGP through classroom discussion, advocacy efforts, and diversity groups. Recipients often participate in community and scholarly diversity activities, workshops, training programs, and conferences. Service Scholarship recipients also support the Annual Diversity Conference.
