Pacesetter Honors Scholarship

The Pacesetter Scholarship Competition is an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their academic achievements and personal stories while earning a prestigious scholarship from Pacific University. The competition will take place online over a two-week period in February and includes two simple steps:

1. Essay Competition: Write a one-hour essay on a provided topic.
2. Video Submission: Create a short 1–2 minute video introducing yourself.

How to Participate

Students must be nominated by their high school counselor to be considered for the competition. Invitations will be sent to nominated students with details on how to participate. If you’re interested in being nominated, talk to your counselor!

Scholarship Details

Every student who completes both the essay and video will automatically receive a Pacesetter Scholarship of $3,000 per year (a total of $12,000 over four years).

The top submissions will earn an even bigger scholarship! Selected winners will receive a total scholarship of $13,000 per year (that’s $52,000 over four years). The entire amount will be awarded as a single Pacesetter Scholarship on your financial aid package.

More Than Just a Competition

As a Pacesetter participant, you’ll also have the chance to:

  • Connect with a professor in your future field of study (virtually or in person if you’re local).
  • Meet one-on-one with your admissions counselor.
  • Attend special events and receptions to learn more about life as a Pacific Boxer.

Take this opportunity to stand out, earn scholarships, and start your journey at Pacific University!
