Pacific University Archivist Eva Guggemos will present a virtual lecture on the early history of the Forest Grove area with a focus on the period between the 1830s and late 1850s. During these years, the Atfalati bands of the Kalapuya people still lived on, and cared for their ancestral land, while the earliest missionaries and farmers began moving into the region.

This special lecture is presented as part of Pacific University’s collaborative effort to acknowledge the sesquicentennial anniversary of Forest Grove.

Participation in this event is free, but advance registration is required.
