Jimmy Webb is a legendary American songwriter, composer, singer, and member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and winner of multiple songwriting honors. Webb wrote numerous hits including “Up, Up and Away,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” “Highwayman,” “All I Know” and “MacArthur Park,” and has also become a leader and mentor in the industry as a champion for songwriters. His “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” was the third most-performed song for the 50-year period between 1940 and 1990.
