When is Homecoming 2021?

Save the date and make your travel arrangements for Homecoming 2021, Oct. 8-10! 

Where do events take place?

Most Homecoming events take place on the Forest Grove Campus unless otherwise noted. You will receive detailed locations for events at the Welcome Center.

What is the Welcome Center?

Homecoming guests are asked to stop in at the Homecoming Welcome Center to pick up essential materials and learn event locations before attending any events. Welcome Center hours will be posted this summer. 

Where can I park on campus?

Homecoming guests are invited to park in open permit university lots with a parking pass. Printable parking permits will be available this summer or you can pick one up at the Welcome Center throughout the weekend. Parking is also available on the streets surrounding campus, no permit is required. Refer to street signage for time limits.

Will there be food I can eat?

Vegetarian and gluten-free food will be provided at all catered events. If you have other dietary restrictions or allergies, please contact the Alumni Association in advance and we will take steps to assure we can accommodate your needs. 

Are services available for people with limited mobility?

Guests with limited mobility are invited to take advantage of our limited mobility parking in a reserved lot with campus shuttle access. To acquire a limited mobility parking permit, please note your limited mobility needs when completing the registration form. 

What should I wear?

Casual fall attire is recommended for most Homecoming events. The Golden Guard Lunch Celebrating the Class of 1970 and the Alumni Awards Ceremony include formal programs and dressy casual is recommended. 

Will my friends be there?

After registration for Homecoming has opened, alumni who register for Homecoming will have their names listed on the Who’s Coming page. 

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! Homecoming is intentionally designed to be family-friendly and children are welcome at all events. Children 12 and younger can attend for free except for athletic matches.

Can Pacific University students come too?

Pacific University students are welcome to attend all Homecoming events. Pacific students receive one free ticket to the football game, which they may pick up from the Athletic Department during designated times. Pacific student tickets are not distributed through Homecoming registration.

Are there tickets for Homecoming?

Although tickets are not required for Homecoming, we ask that you check-in at the Welcome Center to pick up your nametag, affinity buttons and other important information about the weekend. The football game does require admission tickets. Tickets purchased through Homecoming registration will be available at Will Call outside the stadium on game day. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office two hours before the game.

Do I need to register?

Yes please! Registrations help us decide how much food to order and how many seats to provide. Even if an event is free, it is helpful for the event planners to know how many guests to expect. 

What if event fees are a hardship?

We want to make Homecoming attendance possible for all. This is why we greatly subsidize event costs and guests only pay for costs related to catering. However, if these subsidized event fees still cause a hardship that could prevent your attendance, please contact us

Are there late fees?

There are no late fees, though registrations are appreciated in advance. 

Can I receive a refund if necessary?

The Alumni Association can provide refunds one week before the event. All refunds require notification via phone or written statement cancellation. In all instances, refunds will not be offered after the applicable time period, regardless of circumstance. Refunds will be issued up until a week prior. Cancellations received after that time cannot be refunded. 

Why do I have to pay to attend Homecoming events?

The registration fees cover the cost of catering. The university greatly subsidizes Homecoming in an attempt to make the events affordable for all guests. 

How can I help plan my reunion?
