The Latino Roots panels feature a timeline of Latino presence in what is now the state of Oregon beginning in the 1700s. It also includes information on demographics, information about Latino youth, and the stories of various families who came at different times to Lane County from California, Texas, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Chile.

The panel is sponsored by the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and the Student Multicultural Center in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month.

Check out the panel in Scott Hall's lobby from Oct. 11 to 15.
