For much of the United States' history, women were denied some of the basic rights enjoyed by men. One of those crucial rights was the right to vote. In 1920 United States Constitution was revised to ensure the right to vote could not be denied based on a person's sex.
This year marks the 100-year anniversary of women's suffrage which changed the lives of many Americans, and we hope you will join us to celebrate this democratic milestone at PUB Night.
We have invited Associate Professor and History Department Chair Lisa Szefel and Political Science Assistant Profesor Paul Snell to join us to discuss the landmark legislation through a historical and a political science perspective.
PUB Night is $27 and includes the lecture, dinner and two drink tickets. Registration is required for planning purposes. Please register using the form below.
We hope you can join us!
