Join the Student Multicultural Center and learn how to speak up, stand up, and initiate change at Pacific University's annual Social Justice Retreat. This retreat, as in previous years, will be in the memory of Bevin McCarthy and her unending work in the pursuit of social justice and service. Please encourage all students to apply. The retreat is designed for all students to be a part of an excellent opportunity for engagement and learning. Transportation, food, and housing will be provided, all students have to do is apply.
The retreat will be Thursday, January 16 through Sunday, January 19, 2020 and the students will be expected to be present for the entire time (Jan. 17 through Jan. 19). The only requirement for participants will be to attend the orientation dinner on the Forest Grove campus from 6 to 8 p.m. on January 16. If you cannot make this dinner, please let us know and we’ll provide any materials that you would receive at that dinner by email. The retreat will be located at Cedar Ridge in Vernonia, OR.
