Listening to our own pulse is an essential part of our lives, but we do not always listen. What are our dreams and aspirations? Are we taking care of ourselves? What is our heartbeat telling us? These and many more questions might arise when exploring the meaning of our heartbeat, and we answer these questions through movement.
barebones. is a piece about finding solace in the exhaustion we have individually experienced as our society adapts to "the new normal." Navigating life through the burn-out we've collectively pushed through this past year, this piece is a moment in time where we can allow ourselves to acknowledge our state of being and say to ourselves- it's okay, it'll be okay.
Each performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and features an eclectic evening of dance featuring the Pacific Dance Ensemble, faculty and guest artists.
While admission is free, donations are accepted. This spring, a portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting foster children and families in the community.
Registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link to view the show.
