September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and take this training to join the hundreds of students, staff and faculty at Pacific who have completed this training! Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 18-24 and is highly preventable.
Join staff from the Student Counseling Center and be trained in Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a national recognized suicide prevention training. This empirically-validated training will equip you to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communication of people at risk as well as gain the skills to act and help save a life.
This QPR will run 60 minutes and participants receive a Certificate of Completion as well as QPR literature to carry and guide their response to someone expressing suicidal thoughts and feelings.
