How do power and privilege play out in the fields of education and social Work? This workshop, facilitated by V Martin, the director of Pacific University's Center for Gender Equity, will examine how laws, policy, and personal bias intentionally impact marginalized communities. 

V Martin (she/her) holds a master's degree from Oregon State University in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Adult Education. In her spare time she serves on the boards of the Wahkiakum Animal Advocates Group and Riverflow, a new nonprofit offering wrap-around support and housing to survivors of interpersonal violence.
