Information meetings are an exceptional opportunity to learn more about Pacific University’s School of Learning & Teaching (SLT) programs directly from SLT faculty and staff. Attending an information meeting will give you a taste of what makes Pacific so unique — small class sizes and one-on-one, customized support from faculty.
This program is designed for instructional assistants, general education teachers, or anyone with a bachelor's degree who is interested in becoming a teacher. The information meeting is open to individuals with and without licensure. Those without a teaching license will learn about the process to obtain a preliminary license and Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, and licensed education teachers can learn about adding an endorsement.
Meetings will cover information about the program, student teaching, and the admissions process. By attending an information meeting, participants will have the opportunity to ask specific questions pertaining to their needs and interests. You may also have the opportunity to tour campus (virtually).
