Diversity Assistantship | School of Graduate Psychology
SGP offers a limited number of diversity assistantships each year to current students. Diversity assistantships are paid positions for students who hold leadership roles that support SGP’s diversity mission.
Leadership roles include the steering committee for our Annual Diversity Conference, leaders of diversity-related student groups, and director support positions. For example, students on diversity assistantships aid the Diversity Director in planning diversity-related events and meetings, organizing and documenting diversity-related information, while serving as liaison between students and the Diversity Director.
Assistantships are awarded annually based on interest, commitment, and funding. Current students who are interested in the diversity assistantships are welcome to apply. Positions are filled at the beginning and the end of the academic year. For more information, contact the Director of Diversity.
