The Faith Gabelnick Endowed Fund for Community Service

Named after the President of Pacific University from 1995 until 2003, the award provides support for students engaged in off-campus public service projects.

Programs Funded

The Fund provides up to $1,000 for students involved in projects dedicated to service learning, community partnerships, and philanthropy, including: paid internships in city or county government offices, business, or other industries; events designed to develop moral consciousness and awareness; research, educational opportunities, travel or guest speakers related to contemporary issues. The Fund encourages programs that connect students with faculty in the pursuit of community service and altruism.

Eligibility

Full-time status at Pacific University.

Application Process

Students must complete the template, which outlines the proposal and budget. Please note that applications will be accepted only in the spring during the annual call for proposals. Watch for email announcement with the template in the spring.
