A Thanksgiving Message from President Hallick

This started out as a letter to our students, and it still (mostly) is, but in truth I also mean it as a message to everyone in the Pacific community. As we look ahead to Thanksgiving weekend, I want to let you know how much I care about each and every one of you, and how thankful I am for the genuine compassion you show one another every day.

CCE director Stephanie Stokamer appeared on Portland NBC affiliate KGW 8 with some tips for how to talk to loved ones with different perspectives this holiday season.

Student-Employee Timecards Due on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Student-employee timecards for the current pay period (Nov. 13-26) are due into Human Resources no later than 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 to accommodate the university's Thanksgiving holiday closure.

Empty Bowls Fundraising Dinner to Benefit Local Non-Profit

Join the Art Department’s Ceramics team from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 in the University Center multi-purpose room for the first annual Empty Bowls Fundraising dinner, which benefits local non-profit HomePlate.

Pacific University Displays AIDS Memorial Quilt Panels

Pacific University and the Center for Gender Equity host the display of 40 panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses.
