MSW Advanced Standing | Forest Grove
Earn your Master of Social Work in just nine months with the advanced standing program at Pacific University's Forest Grove Campus.
Students who have earned a bachelor of social work degree (BSW) from a CSWE accredited program, no more than five years prior to beginning the MSW program, are eligible to apply for advanced standing. Students will attend classes two days a week (classes on Friday afternoon/evenings & Saturdays) for the new Advanced Standing Program on the Forest Grove Campus, and field placements will be in the Portland Metro area.
The Advanced Standing program, as well as a full, two-year MSW Program, is offered at Pacific University's Eugene Campus as well.
Earned a BSW more than Five Years Ago?
If students completed their bachelor's degree in social work more than five years before applying to the MSW program, they must demonstrate that they have engaged in continuing education and professional social work practice during a majority of the years since their undergraduate education. A BSW does not guarantee applicants admission to Pacific’s MSW program.
