Boxer Excellence Week
November 28-December 5
Boxer Excellence Week is an enhancement on Boxer Giving Day. This week-long campaign focused on unrestricted support will kick-off on Giving Tuesday and extend for seven days, allowing us to dedicate a full day to each college’s Excellence Fund. Watch for more details to come!
Centro Cultural Christmas Baskets - Student Multicultural Center
Students are collecting food for the Centro Cultural Christmas Basket program through December 11th. Basket supplies can be dropped off at Scott Hall 107 or SMC students will come pick up. Contact Lishao Chen for more information. Items needed include, canned corn, canned tuna, canned tomato sauce, pasta, rice, beans, peanut butter, cereal/oatmeal, cookies, bread, oil, sugar, shampoo, toothpaste and tooth brushes.
Boxer Holiday Breakfasts
Hillsboro Campus (HPC2 Atrium): Thursday, 12/7/17, 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Forest Grove (MPR, Washburne Hall): Tuesday, 12/12/17, 7:15 - 9:15 a.m.
Faculty and Staff are invited to join their colleagues for a holiday celebration breakfast. The Forest Grove event will collect food donations for the Pacific Food Pantry (located in Scott Hall) and the Hillsboro event will collect toys for the Hillsboro Fire Department toy drive. Crafter’s Lunch Break
Bring a lunch, a personal craft project, craft supplies and your crafty self! Gather with your crafty co-workers once a week to finish those half-finished yarn projects, overdue art cards, much-needed mending and those scrapbooks you’ve been meaning to do for years. The Staff Senate serves as the official representative body of the University staff community by actively participating in campus governance. The Staff Senate shall foster a spirit of unity and cooperation, providing representation of non-faculty personnel in coordination with the faculty and student governing bodies. The Staff Senate shall also provide a forum for the exchange of information between members of the staff, administration, faculty and students.
