Pacific University COVID-19 Response

Pacific University is committed to the wellbeing of our students and employees, as well as our community at large. Please remember we do require all students and employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or to have an approved exemption. We also encourage all those with approved exemptions to become vaccinated as soon as they are able.

Pacific University is currently reporting a 97% vaccination among students and employees. Learn more about vaccine requirements, exemptions and availability.

Current Requirements

We will continue to assess the spread of the novel coronavirus and its variants, with the intention of continuing in-person teaching, learning, research and university events.

Public Health Update

Masks will be required indoors across Pacific’s campuses, except in private office or lab spaces, residence hall rooms, or while eating or drinking. Students and employees, submit your vaccine or exemption documentation immediately. Learn more about Pacific's COVID-19 protocols and precautions.

Public Health Update

The CDC now encourages everyone — vaccinated or unvaccinated — to wear a face mask indoors in public areas where there is substantial or high transmission. While Pacific University is not implementing new mask mandates at this time, we strongly encourage all members of our community to follow this CDC guidance.
