Teaching Endorsement Programs
Pacific University education students pursuing an undergraduate major in education and learning may choose to pursue a multiple subject track for teaching early childhood or elementary education.
Or, students may pursue subject-area endorsements for middle and high school teaching, including physical education, health, science, social studies, art, music, math, foreign language, or language arts by majoring in one of those fields and pairing their major with teaching coursework.
Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree may pursue a master of arts in teaching in general education with an early childhood/elementary focus or with a middle/high school endorsement related to their degree area.
Current teachers also can choose from a selection of non-degree programs to add endorsements to their teaching license in subjects such as ESOL, reading or reading intervention, talented & gifted, cultural competence, technology learning and dyslexia.
