At Pacific University, civic engagement and global community are pillars of our mission.
That mission comes to life in our many healthcare clinics around the greater Portland area — and in our outreach to underserved populations locally and globally.
While our clinics offer important learning experiences for our students, they also provide much needed services to our community. We offer several eye and vision care clinics throughout the region, as well as psychology, physical therapy, dental hygiene and audiology clinics.
In each location, affordable care for those who might otherwise go without is a priority.
Our students and faculty also engage in a wide variety of community outreach programs providing healthcare screenings and services to those who need them most, such as children and migrant farmworkers.
And, many of our programs offer international trips in which students travel to experience healthcare in other cultures and provide much needed care there.
It’s all part of the spirit of service and the commitment to community that is embedded in a Pacific University education.
