There are three levels of change that can help you cope with stress:

  • Stress relief is what you do to calm down in the moment. Try relaxation exercises, or take advantage of the Pacific University Oasis!
  • Stress management involves rearranging your schedule to have enough time to do everything.
  • Life management is what you do when there are just not enough hours in the day. Maybe it's time to drop a class, quit your job, or finally address some of your mental health concerns. Your adviser or staff in the University Counseling Center are here to help.
