Merit Scholarships

It takes hard work and perseverance to succeed academically. At Pacific University, we want to reward your achievements and make it possible for you to develop your talents even further.

When you apply to Pacific University, Freshman are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships of up to $12,000 a year.

Freshman Awards*

HONORS AWARD - $12,000
Recipients average a 3.85 GPA and an SAT score of 1260* or an ACT score of 28

PRESIDENTIAL AWARD - $10,000
Recipients average a 3.6 GPA and an SAT score of 1140* or an ACT score of 25

TRUSTEE AWARD - $8,500
Recipients average a 3.39 GPA and an SAT score of 1070* or an ACT score of 23

UNIVERSITY AWARD - $7,500
Recipients average a 3.19 GPA and an SAT score of 1000* or an ACT score of 21

*SAT Scores include Math and Critical Reasoning only.

Transfer Awards

HONORS AWARD - $9,000
Awarded to students with a transfer GPA of 3.7 and above

PRESIDENTIAL AWARD - $8,000
Awarded to students with a transfer GPA between 3.5 - 3.69

TRUSTEE AWARD - $7,000
Awarded to students with a transfer GPA between 3.3 – 3.49

UNIVERSITY AWARD - $6,000
Awarded to students with a transfer GPA between 2.9 – 3.29

FAFSA

If you are interested in applying for need-based financial aid as well, simply submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the application for admission by Feb. 15.
