Campus Spotlight

The Lu`au meal, which includes kalua pig, chicken long rice, teriyaki chicken, poi, haupia, coconut cake, and Lu`au punch, is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the University Center on campus. The show will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Pacific Athletic Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the show.

Congratulations to our 2008 Fulbright Award winners!

Two Pacific University undergraduates have been awarded prestigious Fulbright Scholarships in 2008: Jenifer Jennings and Evan Bredeweg. Phillip Quercia, a recent graduate from Pacific is currently an alternate for a Fulbright Award and Sarah Piazza a 2008 graduate from Pacific’s College of Education, Master’s in Teaching program has also won a Fulbright Award. Pacific’s dedication to academic excellence and close faculty-student mentoring has built a tradition of earning competitive national and international awards. We congratulate Jen, Evan, Phillip, and Sarah and all of our national award winners.
