Jessica Hamlet Guest Artist, Stage Combat UC Box: A131

Jessica Hamlet (Instructor: Stage Combat) is a 2008 graduate of the Theatre Department at Pacific University. During her time as a student at Pacific, she acted in several mainstage productions; worked in the scene shop; participated in the inaugural season of LunchBox Theatre as an actor, techie, and playwright; and served as President of the Drama Club.
Since graduating, she has taught several Stage Combat workshops and classes for the University and choreographed fight sequences for both stage and film. Her most recent credits include the 2012 Pacific University senior project production of Macbeth and the short film Mist Runner. She also attends regional Stage Combat workshops when she is able, including the Winter Wonderland Workshop in Chicago and the Carnage in the Corn Workshop in Des Moines.
Jessica was recently accepted to the Master of Letters/Master of Fine Arts program Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, and will begin studying Shakespeare and Performance in the fall of 2013.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys gardening, cooking, and pretending to be exasperated with her cat and her husband.
