Pacific University Athletics
Athletics plays an integral role in the student experience at Pacific University.
Over one-third of undergraduate students participate in one of the university's 24 intercollegiate athletics programs. Additionally, many more students, faculty and staff take part in the university's intramural sports.
Division III Intercollegiate Athletics
Pacific offers 24 intercollegiate athletics programs, which compete as members of NCAA Division III.
Men's programs are offered in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, and wrestling. Women's programs are offered in basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, and wrestling. Junior varsity programs are offered for baseball, men's basketball, softball and volleyball.
Pacific University is a charter member of the Northwest Conference, which was founded in in 1926. Other member schools are George Fox University, Lewis & Clark College, Linfield College, Pacific Lutheran University, the University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University and Willamette University.
