Critical Mass Grove Bike Ride
Apr 20, 2012, 2:00 PMMeet in the Quad
Join forces on bike with the teachers and students from the Forest Grove community school for a critical mass tour of the Grove!
During Earth Week 2011, teachers and students from the Forest Grove Community School and students at Pacific started a tradition of a community bike ride to celebrate Earth Week. There was a beautifully long parade of bicycle riders who rode through campus and continued on a three-mile loop around Forest Grove last year. This year, the Community School has teamed up with ECA Core again to bring together our community on this critical mass bike ride to make a statement about alternative modes of transportation and enjoy the bike accessible roads in Forest Grove.
If you would like to join forces with the crew of riders, hop on a bike and be ready to go in the Quad at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20. If you do not have a bike of your own, you can talk to Outback about joining the Afree Bike program to have access to the free black bicycles locked around campus.
Please invite friends and join us for a fun afternoon bike ride!
