Pacific's Music Department presents the Holiday Concert


Now a tradition in the Forest Grove area, our annual Holiday Concert will present music of the season by the Chamber Singers (conducted by Dr. Scott Tuomi) and the Concert Choir (conducted by Steve Peter) have prepared a marvelous lineup of holiday favorites. The Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, and Symphonic Band, conducted by Chuck Bolton, will add to the festivities with "White Christmas" and a sing-along.

Pacific University's annual Holiday Concert will present sounds of the season by the University Chamber Singers, conducted by Dr. Scott Tuomi, and the Concert Choir, under the direction of Steve Peter.

Show time is 7:30 p.m. in the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center (2014 Cedar Street, Forest Grove).

The Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, and Symphonic Band, conducted by Chuck Bolton, will add to the festivities with "White Christmas" and a sing-along.

Additional pieces include arrangements of “O Magnum Mysterium,” “Alleluia Rejoice,” “Ave Maria,” “Carol of the Stable Dog,” “I Saw Three Ships” and "Snowfall."

The university’s Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will join the vocalists on stage, as will the handbell choir from the United Church of Christ.

General admission is $7, and can be obtained in advance by calling 503-352-2918.

Senior citizens 65 and better, as well as Pacific students and employees are admitted for $5.
