All students, faculty and staff are invited to provide feedback about two candidates for the position of Associate Vice President of Finance/Controller. As part of their final interviews, the candidates are available at virtual open forums to discuss informally their experience and skills and answer questions from participants.

Romy Tong, CPA, MBA, currently with Renton Technical College, has an exciting “can do” attitude, hunger for learning, and an impressive and diverse background, having worked at both educational and financial institutions and in a wide variety of financial related roles.

Karen Rasmussen, CPA, CHC, comes to Pacific University with a passion for our mission and culture and how they align with her values. In addition, Karen has had a broad and impressive range of experience and accomplishments with Providence Health & Service, Kaiser Health Plan of the NW and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
