Pacific University has made a commitment to “grow green” by working to LEED-certification for all new buildings.

 

LEED ratings include certified, silver, gold or platinum. Pacific has six LEED-certified buildings

 

The Pacific University Library in Forest Grove, built in 2005, was the first LEED-certified building on any of Pacific’s campuses, earning a silver rating.

 

Pacific’s other five LEED-certified buildings all earned gold rankings, including Burlingham Hall and A.C. Gilbert Hall, residence halls on the Forest Grove campus; Berglund Hall, home of the College of Education on the Forest Grove campus; and Creighton Hall and HPC2 on the Health Professions Campus in Hillsboro.
