ADMISSIONS: Hawaii Outreach Program
Applicable to applicants from Hawaii only
The Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies offers the Hawaii Outreach Program for applicants currently living in Hawaii or from Hawaii, but living on the mainland, who have plans to return to the islands to work as a physician assistant upon completion of the program.
Students enrolled in the program will complete their didactic year at Pacific University in Oregon and may complete a majority of their clinical year in Hawaii. All curriculum requirements are the same for all applicants enrolled in the program.
A faculty member from the Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies resides in Hawaii to mentor and encourage potential applicants from Hawaii to apply to the program. The program offers two dedicated seats to the highest ranking Hawaii applicants each year.
