Berglund Center Inspired Ideas Competition

Update: THE INSPIRED IDEAS COMPETITION WILL NOT TAKE PLACE FOR 24/25 DUE TO A BACKLOG OF PROJECTS AFFECTED BY THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC THAT HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED.

The Berglund Center’s mission is to support multidisciplinary and multicollegiate creativity, scholarship, entrepreneurship and the development of leadership skills through the incubation of innovative ideas, products and services.

The Inspired Ideas Competition is designed for students of all majors/minors and rank (including graduate), to share their innovative ideas with a panel of judges and the public, for a chance of winning thousands of dollars in scholarships, professional and technical support and a chance at turning the idea into an actual prototype (product or service) during one academic year.

The competition is judged based on the innovation and creativity merit of the idea, rather than the financial or business potential.  Because this is an "ideas" competition, no previous prototype or proof-of-concept is needed to participate. Your willingness to turn it into a real prototype or proof-of-concept is, however, a requirement.

REGISTRATION FOR 24/25 IS CLOSED.
