My professional interest areas include preceptor development, emotional intelligence, resilience, motivation, and obesity. I practiced at Albertsons Pharmacy until 2015 as a Pharmacy Manager, Market Recruiter and Summer Intern Coordinator. As the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education (ADEE) I am responsible for the oversight of experiential education at the School, including site placements, preceptor development, and management of student issues and preceptor concerns.

Outside the Classroom

I am passionate about connecting with students and providing a warm atmosphere conducive to learning. Family is of utmost importance to me, I am a proud mother of one son. He is the greatest joy in my life. Physical activity is a must in my life (e.g. running, hiking, dancing). My free times are filled with coffee, exercise, play-dates, service, family and friends. I enjoy public speaking and hence love to watch TED Talks. I am a spiritual person who finds great value in virtues and the betterment of mankind.
