Auburn Beebe, MA

Staff Counselor
Student Counseling Center

Auburn Beebe (she/her/hers) holds a master’s in clinical psychology from Pacific School of Graduate Psychology and continues to work toward her PsyD in clinical psychology. She has experience working in community mental health with clients facing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD as well as life transitions and relationships. Auburn sees therapy as a collaborative process between therapist and client, where the therapist assists the client to gain increased insight into their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, and the client puts in the hard work to make small and gradual changes toward their goals. Auburn also enjoys helping clients to cultivate self-compassion, especially in the face of adversity. She believes in exploring the ways that intersecting identities, culture, and oppression can affect an individual’s wellbeing and puts a focus on providing support and validation to individuals who have been impacted by marginalization. Auburn approaches her work from an integrated perspective, utilizing aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, functional analytic psychotherapy, mindfulness practice and person-centered therapy. In her free time, Auburn enjoys spending time outdoors, playing video games, meditating and hanging out with her two cats.
