Debbie Lamedman is a playwright, director and teaching artist, with multiple books and plays published by Smith & Kraus, Inc. and Heuer Publications. For the past 10 years, she has been the commissioned playwright for Pittsburg High School Repertory Theatre where she has written numerous plays all focusing on social issues for teens.
In addition to writing, Debbie is an adjunct theatre instructor at Pacific University and has directed 4 productions here. She also teaches acting classes at Portland Actors Conservatory and is a frequent guest teaching artist for playwrighting and monologue workshops in Portland and across the country. Debbie received her MFA in theatre from Brandeis University and is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.
