Roles and Scholarship Interests

Dr. Borrego serves as an Affiliate Faculty in the Clinical Psychology program.

Scholarship interests include: 1) Multicultural competence education and training in health service
psychology, 2) consideration of culture in the assessment and intervention with underserved populations
(e.g., Latinx families), 3) health promotion in underserved communities, 4) social validity of psychosocial
interventions with underserved populations, 5) physical discipline of children, and 6) prosocial parenting
practices.
