Practice/Research Interests
Dr. Steinkopf is interested in chronic disease and population health management in the outpatient setting. This includes management of diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk reduction, asthma/COPD, and tobacco use disorder. She also values working on projects and learning about solutions to health inequities.
Outside the Classroom
Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Steinkopf enjoys spending as much time as possible hiking and enjoying the beautiful views throughout Oregon. She also loves reading books, listening to podcasts, and being a plant mom.
