Ordering Transcripts

Pacific University partners with Parchment, a global leader in the secure production and delivery of both paper and electronic academic transcripts, using their online ordering system. Alumni and students order and pay for transcripts online, can upload attachments to be sent with their transcripts, electronically track their orders, and know when their transcripts have been sent. In addition, transcripts can be produced as secure PDF documents and sent electronically, which speeds up turnaround time and eliminates paper from the process.

At Pacific, official transcripts show graded courses and include the university seal and signature of the University Registrar. Printed official transcripts are on red security paper; an electronic transcript is considered official only when the designated recipient receives it after notification from Parchment.

Ordering Through BoxerOnline:

You may use BoxerOnline, even if you are not a current student. If you've forgotten your PUNetID or password, you may contact the Technology Help Desk for assistance at 503-352-1500 or help@pacificu.edu.

  • Using Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Internet Explorer, login to BoxerOnline
  • Click on Transcript/Diploma Request
    • If you already were logged in through Pacific’s Single Sign-On, you will be taken into the ordering system.
    • If not, you will be taken to Pacific’s Single Sign-On page.  Log in.
  • Create an account as requested the first time
  • Once you are in the ordering system, make your selections, carefully review your order information, and place the order
  • After your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming that your transcript has been sent

Ordering Without a BoxerOnline account:

  • Using Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Internet Explorer, go to Pacific Transcript Ordering Service
  • Create an account as requested the first time
  • Once you are in the ordering system, make your selections, carefully review your order information, and place the order
  • After your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming that your transcript has been sent

What types of products can I order?

Please note that students who attended prior to 1994 may experience a slightly slower response as records are not maintained in electronic format and must be scanned from the original file.

An official, certified PDF of your transcript (e-transcript)

  • This is the fastest, most secure, and environmentally friendly method to request your transcript.
  • Orders are processed quickly, usually within the same day. However, please allow for longer processing time during high volume periods, such as the end of semester or after degrees have been granted.
  • Please confirm with the recipients that they will be able to receive an electronic copy of your transcript. Also, to avoid potential problems with spam filters, please instruct recipients to allow emails from Parchment (noreplyint@parchment.com).

An official paper transcript

  • Orders are usually processed within a few business days. However, please allow for longer processing time during high volume periods, such as the end of semester or after degrees have been granted.
  •  You may choose USPS First-class mail (non-trackable) or expedited FedEx shipping for delivery. International delivery options also are available. Details on cost are provided on the order form.

An official paper transcript with notarization

  • This is not common and is typically required for international employment. If this is required, please attach a brief explanation regarding your needs.
  • Orders are usually processed within ten business days because these requests require in-house printing and coordination with the Notary Public. Please allow for the potential of longer processing time during high volume periods, such as the end of semester or after degrees have been granted.
  • You may choose USPS First-class mail (non-trackable) or expedited FedEx shipping for delivery. International delivery options also are available. Details on cost are provided on the order form.

What if I have a hold on my account?

Transcripts cannot be ordered if there are restrictions or holds on the student record. If you have a hold on your account, typically, you will receive a message which directs you to contact the appropriate office. Once your hold is resolved, you may order a transcript.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Once orders have been submitted, they cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. Please review your order details carefully prior to completing the order. Orders placed with incorrect or missing information will have to be re-ordered at your expense.

What are the fees for transcript ordering?

There is a $5.00 charge per transcript (e-transcript or printed). Please note that printed transcripts are also charged a shipping/handling fee depending on the shipping option you choose. Details are provided on the ordering site.

You can order using any major credit or debit card. An authorization will go through and appear as a pending charge on your account. However, your card will not be charged until your transcript order is completed.

What if I need my current semester grades or degree to appear on my transcript?

Are you currently enrolled?
Wait to order your transcripts until you see all grades posted on BoxerOnline. If you order your transcript prior to grades being visible on BoxerOnline, the current semester’s grades will not appear on your transcript.

Are you graduating?
Degrees are posted on our published conferral dates, except when the conferral date falls on a weekend. Please wait at least 3 business days after your conferral date to order your transcript to ensure your degree will appear on your transcript.

Can I get an unofficial transcript?

You many view an unofficial transcript through your BoxerOnline account. From the Students menu, click on Academic History and choose your transcript grouping, typically UG or PR.
