Calling all Graduate & Professional Division staff & faculty: you're invited!
Are you ready to build connections & make a difference in our community? The Pacific University Work & Service Board connects students with impactful opportunities (both paid and volunteer). Spring semester events are starting to post now. Recent highlights include a paid opportunity with Metro, a summer fellowship, and multiple on- and off-campus volunteer opportunities!
Last chance! Pacific University staff, faculty, and students don’t miss your exclusive early access to Nā Haumāna O Hawai‘i Lū‘au & Hō‘ike tickets. Submit the pre-sale request form now to purchase show tickets, with dinner options, before public sales open.
Opee is a 10-year-old acting like a puppy. You can find us often hiking and going to the beach to frolic. I could not wish for more for such a loyal, sweet, and gentle companion.
Need articles, books, DVDs, or something else for research or fun? Interlibrary Loan, through Pacific University Libraries, can help for free!
The Student Counseling Center and Pacific University Psychology Society (PUPS) are excited to offer a QPR suicide prevention training for the campus community. Come learn important skills and connect with other students who are interested in psychology!
Tatiana Piatanova has been at Pacific for over 10 years. Her work as a Sr. Instructional Designer involves working with both staff and faculty, which creates a well-rounded perspective. This is her 3rd term with Staff Senate. When you don't see her working, she is probably on the trails exploring the Pacific Northwest with her furry companion.
Commencement isn't possible without a great event staff team! Over 50 individuals are needed to greet guests, assist with student line-up, drive a golf cart, and perform countless other tasks at both the morning (approx. 7-11 a.m.) and afternoon (approx. 11:30-3:30 p.m.) ceremonies on Saturday, May 16. Sign up to work a four- or eight-hour shift and earn floating holiday hours (salary/exempt employees only) or hourly staff are paid for hours worked, but please make arrangements with your supervisor first. Also, enjoy snacks, beverages, and pizza in the event staff lounge.
