Internships maximize your time in college by giving you practical experience, time to explore career paths, opportunities to develop professional skills like communication and networking, and potential connections to a future full-time job. We want to help you take advantage of this unique opportunity and are starting to gather paid and credit-bearing internships on our Work & Service Blog. Learn more about current opportunities (and connecting with an Internship Coordinator for individual support) here!

2025 is not just an election year - it’s an *elections* year! Voters nationwide will head to the polls every month of the year to weigh in on over 100,000 state, local, county, and special elections. September 16th is National Voter Registration Day and the perfect time to swing by the UC to chat with a Pacific Votes Student Ambassador about what you need to be #VoteReady.
If you have received an email from Human Resources asking to complete the required Universal Pass Program, please do so this week. Date extended to help us meet the required 75% minimum response rate.
Pacific's default email addresses can be hard to remember. Creating an email alias is a great way to edit your PacificU email address to be something you want and that is easier to share and remember.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to come together as a community and prioritize mental health. At Pacific University, we believe in the power of connection and the importance of open conversations and belonging. This month, we encourage students, staff, and faculty to check in with themselves and each other, learn the warning signs, and understand the resources available both on and off campus. Remember, you don't have to be a mental health expert to make a difference; sometimes, the simple act of listening can be the most powerful tool.
