Libraries Week 2025
Join us for the 5th annual Libraries Week – Monday, October 6th through Sunday, October 12th! Your Pacific University Libraries are more than books (though we have plenty of those!): from helping you study or write a paper, to finding answers to tricky questions, to streaming movies, to just being a nice place to chill when you need a break from your own room or workspace. Libraries Week is a time to join us for some special happenings including:
- Games and prizes!
- Snacks!
- Useful information! (Always available!)
Every weekday during Libraries Week, we will be holding staffed open house hours in the Tran Library between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., where you can learn more from experts about:
-
Requesting new things for the library (including ebooks!)
-
Borrowing from us and other libraries
-
Peer tutoring
-
Figuring out how to use Moodle
-
And more!
If you’d like to learn about any of these things at the Hillsboro Campus Library, stop by anytime between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Come get to know us (or just stop by to try winning a free plant)! We look forward to seeing you during Libraries Week – and any other time!
