Join the Student Multicultural Center and the Forest Grove Library for a virtual discussion with the team from Portland-based Black Futures Farm at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16.

In this online panel discussion, Malcolm Hoover, Daniel Grady, Keoni Young, and Nia Harris will give an overview of their work, the Black food justice movement, and their practices of cultural food production and farming techniques. Plus the team will share their journeys as farmers and food system leaders reimagining Black foodways and building community for Black liberation.

The program will be streaming live on the Forest Grove Library's YouTube channel and Facebook page at 6:30 p.m.
