Oregon will lift most COVID-19 restrictions this week, and Pacific University is excited for the opportunity to take more steps back to normal operations, including teaching and learning, research, student support, and campus events. Effective July 1, most campus protocols will expire, including mask and physical distancing mandates. Campuses will reopen to the public, and we will begin the transition back to full capacity in classrooms and other operations.
Pacific University COVID-19 Response | Stay Healthy
Pacific University is committed to the wellbeing of our students and employees, as well as our community at large. On July 1, 2021, most Oregon COVID-19 restrictions will lift, and Pacific will continue its transition back to normal operations. We will continue to focus on keeping our campus communities safe and healthy, while we return to in-person teaching, learning, research and university events.
Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks outdoors on Pacific’s campuses. Anyone who is not yet fully vaccinated must continue to wear a mask. All indoor protocols remain in place until further guidance is available.
Students and employees will be required to complete a full series of the COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior to arriving on campus for 2021-2022 academic terms, including those starting in May, June or July. Current employees already on campus will be required to complete their vaccination series by Aug. 1, 2021.
