School of PA Studies Mission
To prepare and mentor students with innovative curricula to provide primary and other specialty care for diverse global communities focusing on vulnerable, underserved, and rural populations.
Clinical Year Courses
Rotations run from August to August and include nine 5-week rotations, plus 3 Professional Practice Seminar (PPS) courses and a seminar in Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Health Care, for a total of 4 weeks on campus in the clinical phase.
All students are required to complete core rotations in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, surgery, and emergency medicine, as well as an elective rotation.
We are excited to be a travel program!

Supervised Clinical Practice Experience (SCPE) Sites
The program maintains SCPE sites across the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. States highlighted in red on the map have one or more approved clinical sites where PA students are currently placed for SCPES in the Clinical Phase. Placements are dependent on preceptor availability. Students will need to travel up to 3500 miles to reach any give SCPE site.
All students will:
- Complete clinical rotations all over the United States
- Travel to and learn in diverse environments
- Learn how to treat patients with varying degrees of access to resources
- Discover where they want to live and work after graduation
