The Coordinator for Experiential Education is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Experiential Education (DEE) in the operations for the Office of Experiential Education (OEE).  Individual Coordinator assignments are made at the discretion of the DEE.  Other responsibilities include service to the School of Pharmacy (SOP), College of Health Professions, and University, and participation in academic governance at a level appropriate to level of practice responsibilities.  The position is an administrative appointment.  This individual will develop, manage and maintain projects related to Introductory and Advanced Experiential programming in the School.  In addition, this position will connect with other staff and faculty members of the School of Pharmacy by serving as a voting staff member to a School of Pharmacy standing committee, and assignment to other clerical duties by the DEE

Responsibilities include collaborating with health sciences faculty to teach information literacy, to develop evidence-based practice curriculum, and to contribute to life-long learning skills development through a competency-based curriculum. This position is also responsible for ongoing development of the library collections that directly support these programs. In addition, this position participates in reference and information services in the Libraries. The Health Sciences Librarian reports to the University Librarian, is a member of the Library Faculty, and works as a team member with both library faculty and staff in a rapidly changing, technology-rich environment.
