What hobbies, sports, or interests light you up?

Traveling lights me up! I love exploring new places around the world. So far I've been to a lot of countries in Europe, and some in East Asia, Middle East, North Africa, and North America of course.

What is your specialty as a tutor? What topic, problem, subject, or process do you most enjoy helping students to learn?

I tutor most of undergraduate math, usually calculus and algebra, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence by working through challenging problems together. It feels so rewarding to see relieved student after the session :)

Which of the CLASS 5 Keys – Respect, Inclusion, Growth, Support, and Pizzazz - resonates with you the most and how do you put it into practice in your work as a tutor?

Respect definitely resonates with me the most. Each session I show respect by listening carefully and valuing deeply everything that student says.

What is your best advice for students on how to get the most out of their academic experience in college?

Learn yourself and be patient with you. Figure out your own learning curve, study habits, and what helps you stay motivated.
